Please take a moment to observe as one of our Primary students works with the “Snake Game.” This is a Math material in our Primary Montessori environment that demonstrates the process of addition. This material shows children that we can add small numbers to create 10s. The colored beads seen in the video contain 1 unit to 9 units. When the children add them together, they will count all the way up to 10 and swap the colored beads for a gold bar, which is equivalent to 10. #mountainsidemontessor
